If your teeth have chips, cracks, or other imperfections, show signs of wear, are discolored, have some decay, or have already undergone dental restoration, then veneers or crowns would be the options for cosmetic treatment.

SOLUTION:
Veneers
Veneers are used when teeth are in good overall shape, with little wear or damage from chips, cracks, or decay. In this case, a thin layer of the front surface of the tooth is removed, and a ceramic shell is bonded to the tooth.

PROBLEM:
More Significant Wear or Damage

If your existing teeth show more significant wear or damage, a treatment with dental crowns would be necessary. In this case, more tooth structure is removed all around the tooth, and a ceramic shell is bonded over the entire tooth.

SOLUTION:
Crowns
When placing crowns on several adjacent teeth, excellent results are achieved because there is less constraint from existing teeth, allowing the doctor more freedom to correct the color, shape, and symmetry of teeth.
